Support for the Landmark Centre & our work

A huge thanks to some of the individuals and local businesses that are supporting our efforts and making a huge difference to the children, young people and families we work with.

Huge Thank You to Drama Cats!

Visitors to our Christmas Festivities on 7th December were greeted to a wonderful performance by members of the Drama Cats performing arts group. They sang a whole range of Christmas songs in groups and individually and were well received by a delighted audience. Even Santa and his elves were dancing at one point!  A real testament to the coaching of Lauren Walker. (See "What's on" for further info on their sessions).

We wish them all a wonderful Christmas and a big thank you for their performance.

Still time to volunteer when it comes to the Golf Day

Dylan Steele was recently appointed to his first job at The Landmark Foundation, but that didn't stop him from once again volunteering for his favourite day of the year. After two early morning bus rides he was quickly in charge of his own buggy to lay out the signs for the course and then spent the day ensuring the guests were well stocked with snacks and drinks.

Thanks for your efforts again Dylan - you were a real asset on the day!

Making use of Saturdays!

Peter from PTP Maintenance has been on hand to use his Saturdays to support the work of the Charity on a regular basis by undertaking the basic ground management of the site.  More recently he has worked tirelessly to clear the ground at the back of the site to create the opportunity for an outdoor classroom to be created.  This will be to the benefit of a number of site users and in addition will enable us to operate bushcraft and Forest Schools acitivies during holidays.

Collins Wealth Management's magnificent site support

From ground clearance to painting, the Collins Wealth Management team swapped office for the outdoors earlier in the year to make a massive difference by supporting the general maintenance of the Landmark Site.  Over a number of days classrooms were painted and the car park and MUGA area were cleared, giving a massive uplift to the appearance of the site.  A massive thanks to the Collins' team for their continued support.

Ryley Wealth Management

For the second year running Ryley Wealth Management stepped in to sponsor the golf day. Last year it was for the event programme and this year it was drinks and snacks at the halfway house.......on a very warm day they were greatly received!
