A surprise from Collins Wealth Management
When we were told that the Landmark Foundation had been chosen for support from the Collins team, we were particularly grateful for their volunteering days and all the great work they've done around the site. More recently, however, we received a really big surprise...a donation of several thousand pounds as a result of the team's fundraising over the past year. Its a great boost and support towards future activities.

Scouts on a roll
Great news from the 10th Mansfield Scout Group. Not only have they trebled their numbers since making the Landmark their headquarters, they have raised sufficient funds to purchase their own minibus. With numbers now in excess of 130, the group leader Roger Ambler has announced an additional group on Monday evenings.
The Foundation congratulates them on their success and will continue to support in whatever way we can.

Ready, Steady......Cook
Following a recommendation from Ryley Wealth Management the Trust were able to apply for a local grant from the St James's Place Foundation and we have recieved the brilliant news that we are to receive funding to equip us with equipment to start up our Ready Steady Cook initiative in the New Year. In addition to a themed holiday group we shall also introduce free family cooking sessions with guest chefs leading the way. Watch out for updates on social media.

From volunteering to his first job - Dylan shows his skills.
Dylan Steele has volunteered for the Foundation for a number of years. When the opportunity arose for a part time handyman around the site, Dylan quickly put his name forward. After a trial period, in which Dylan quickly adapted to the demands of the new role, he was accepted for the position and now works up to 15 hours a week in the part time role.

Robots and programming
Generous donations have helped us to create an additional approach to this summer's holiday clubs. We have been able to bring in the expertise of Duncan Allen, who helped to support youngsters in creating 3-D figures of themselves using a hand held scanner and a 3-D printer. Duncan also held sessions in the use of technical Lego kits to create robots that could be programmed to tackle a challenging course that the group had made up. Several youngsters came into a group for the first time with their mentors and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
